Once I fall in love with a National Park, I learn every last detail about it and spend as much time as I possibly can there! Nestled in the Sierra Nevada Mountains lies my next beautiful target, the iconic Yosemite National Park. It is famous for many things, including its massive granite rock walls, incredible views, and ancient sequoias. It is an absolute must-see in California and it is just three hours from our home! Since moving to CA in 2021, we have laid our eyes on some of the most beautiful landscapes we have ever seen. Yosemite is atop the list.

The East Bay Regional Parks District is beautiful system of 73 parks in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties in the San Francisco Bay Area of Northern California. The parks are collectively comprised of over 125,000 acres, 1,250 miles of trails, and 55 miles of shoreline. One of the first things we did when we got to California is look for new places to hike.
